The Club

The Golf Course
The Golf Club of Tennessee opened for member play in 1991.  Tom Fazio, widely-acclaimed as one of today’s best golf course architects, fashioned a golfing masterpiece on 317 acres of Tennessee’s most beautiful rolling land, in a wonderfully quiet and pastoral setting.  Featuring zoysia fairways, bermuda roughs, and A1 bent grass greens, the 7,184-yard, par-71 course sprawls over nearly twice the acreage of a traditional 18-hole course. Fazio used all of the elements of design excellence—with holes that are strategic and penal, challenging yet player-friendly, and memorable but not contrived. The course’s natural beauty and topographic features are carefully interwoven to create an exciting golf course.

Practice Facilities
The Golf Club of Tennessee features a front and back driving range, an A1 bent grass putting green and chipping green, as well as a lighted bermuda putting green and chipping green.

The Clubhouse & Lodging
The course is complemented by a beautiful and fully-functional 31,000-square foot clubhouse.  Featuring an antebellum design, the two-story clubhouse is home to the golf shop, locker rooms, two dining areas and four guest suites for use by members and their guests.  Native stone, board, and batten construction create a distinctive, yet comfortable ambiance.  Large porches overlooking the challenging 10th and 18th holes, are located on both levels.

Opened during the 2012 season, the Ingram Cabin was a stunning addition to the Golf Club's offerings. This three-building cabin complex comprises two sleeping cabins, each with two bedrooms, and a connecting great room cabin with a covered porch overlooking the practice facility. Comfortably sleeping eight, the Ingram Cabin is one of the most relaxing and sophisticated in the region. The perfect complement to our Clubhouse Suites, the Ingram Cabin brings the Club’s overnight capacity to eight bedrooms with a total of 16 beds.

All lodging guests have access to our 6 acre lighted short-game area, featuring two Bermuda practice greens.
